Important Notice

Verizon Service Decommissioning

Verizon is beginning the process of discontinuing Engineered Centrex and ISDN Primary Rate Interface (PRI) services. If you've received a notice, here's what you need to know before making any decisions.

Verizon is engaged in a multi-year program to update its network equipment. As part of that process, it is discontinuing Engineered Centrex service — including Foreign Served Centrex — and ISDN Primary Rate Interface (PRI) service, with phased discontinuance beginning on or after June 1, 2026.

Before committing to any changes, it is important to take a careful look at exactly which services you currently have, which ones are actually being used, and what the right replacement options are for your organization. Rushing into a decision — especially one driven by a vendor with a product to sell — can result in paying for more than you need.

We suggest starting with a review of your current services to identify what should be retained, what can be eliminated, and what the best available options are for what remains. That's exactly what we do — and we've been doing it for over twenty-five years.
